Infiniti is set to expand its model range in a bid to properly match the likes of BMW and Audi.
The Company is planning to gradually increase the number and quality of its product in order for it to succeed in Europe, where so far it has not performed very well.
Speaking at the opening of the company's new design studio in London, Infiniti EMEA Vice President Francois Goupil de Bouille said " Our passion for design will deliver a wide range of very distinct premium vehicles. The expansion of our product range is at the centre of our growth plan.
Nissan's global design director Shiro Nakamura confirmed that design was at the core of the brand's renewed push and showed the media an illustration indicating that the final line-up would include 10 models, topped off by the Q80 luxury four-seater that will be previewed in concept form at next month's Paris motor show.
The expanded range will include the Q30 and QX30 entry-level models and probably a smaller coupe that is likely to be based on the Q50 saloon.
